A BILL
To amend the Uniform Time Act to make daylight savings
time permanent.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘SPF Act’’.

SEC. 2. MAKE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME PERMANENT.

Section 3(a) of the Uniform Time Act of 1966 (15
6
U.S.C. 260a(a)) is amended by striking ‘‘During the pe-
7
riod commencing at 2 o’clock antemeridian on the second
8
Sunday of March of each year and ending at 2 o’clock
9
antemeridian on the first Sunday of November of each
10
year’’ and inserting ‘‘Starting the first Sunday in Novem-
