A BILL
To provide for the membership of the Chief of the Metropoli-
tan Police Department of the District of Columbia on
the Capitol Police Board on an ex-officio, nonvoting
basis.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘District of Columbia
4
Membership on Capitol Police Board Act’’.

LICE DEPARTMENT OF THE DISTRICT OF CO-

LUMBIA ON CAPITOL POLICE BOARD.

Section 1014(a)(2) of the Legislative Branch Appro-
4
priations Act, 2003 (2 U.S.C. 1901 note) is amended—
5
(1) in the first sentence, by striking ‘‘and the
6
Architect of the Capitol,’’ and inserting ‘‘the Archi-
7
tect of the Capitol, and the Chief of the Metropoli-
8
tan Police Department of the District of Columbia,’’;
9
and
10
(2) in the second sentence, by inserting ‘‘and
11
the Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department of
12
the District of Columbia’’ after ‘‘Capitol Police’’.
