AN ACT
To amend title 18, United States Code, to require a provider
of a report to the CyberTipline related to online sexual
exploitation of children to preserve the contents of such
report for 180 days, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Eliminate Network
2
Distribution of Child Exploitation Act’’ or the ‘‘END
3
Child Exploitation Act’’.

SEC. 2. PRESERVATION OF REPORTS TO CYBERTIPLINE RE-
5
LATED TO ONLINE SEXUAL EXPLOITATION OF
6
CHILDREN.

Section 2258A(h) of title 18, United States Code, is
8
amended—
9
(1) in paragraph (1), by striking ‘‘90 days’’ and
10
inserting ‘‘180 days’’; and
11
(2) by adding at the end the following:
12
‘‘(5) EXTENSION OF PRESERVATION.—A pro-
13
vider of a report to the CyberTipline under sub-
14
section (a)(1) may voluntarily preserve the contents
15
provided in the report (including any comingled con-
16
tent described in paragraph (2)) for longer than 180
17
days after the submission to the CyberTipline for
18
the purpose of reducing the proliferation of online
19
child sexual exploitation or preventing the online
20
sexual exploitation of children.

‘‘(6) METHOD
OF
PRESERVATION.—Not later
22
than 1 year after the date of enactment of this para-
23
graph, a provider of a report to the CyberTipline
24
under subsection (a)(1) shall preserve materials
25
under this subsection in a manner that is consistent

source.’’.
