Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘No Taxpayer Funding
4
for Paris Climate Agreement Act’’.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS TO PROVIDE FOR

THE UNITED STATES TO BECOME A PARTY TO

THE PARIS AGREEMENT.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding any other provi-
4
sion of law, no funds may be appropriated, obligated, or
5
expended to take any action to provide for the United
6
States to become a party to the Paris Agreement.

(b) PARIS AGREEMENT DEFINED.—In this section,
8
the term ‘‘Paris Agreement’’ means the decision by the
9
21st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations
10
Framework Convention on Climate Change in Paris,
11
France, adopted December 12, 2015.
