A BILL
To require the publication of the name of any person
pardoned by the President, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Presidential Pardon
4
Transparency Act of 2021’’.

SEC. 2. PUBLICATION OF PARDONS.

Not later than 3 days after the date on which the
7
President grants any reprieve or pardon for an offense
8
against the United States, the Attorney General shall pub-
