To conduct or support further comprehensive research for
the creation of a universal coronavirus vaccine.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Coronavirus Vaccine
4
Act’’.

SEC. 2. RESEARCH FOR THE CREATION OF A UNIVERSAL
6
CORONAVIRUS VACCINE.

(a) IN GENERAL.—The Director of the National In-

stitute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases shall conduct or

(b) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—To carry

out this section, there are authorized to be appropriated

$250,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2021 through 2024.
