For the relief of Alirio Palacios Gamez, Hilda Veronica
Ramirez Mendez, and Jayro Ivan Juarez Ramirez.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS FOR ALIRIO
3
PALACIOS GAMEZ, HILDA VERONICA RAMI-
4
REZ MENDEZ, AND JAYRO IVAN JUAREZ RA-
5
MIREZ.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding subsections (a)
7
and (b) of section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality
8
Act, Alirio Palacios Gamez, Hilda Veronica Ramirez
9
Mendez, and Jayro Ivan Juarez Ramirez (also known as
10

Mendez) shall each be eligible for issuance of an immi-
2
grant visa or for adjustment of status to that of an alien
3
lawfully admitted for permanent residence upon filing an
4
application for issuance of an immigrant visa under sec-
5
tion 204 of such Act or for adjustment of status to lawful
6
permanent resident.

(b) ADJUSTMENT
OF STATUS.—If Alirio Palacios
8
Gamez, Hilda Veronica Ramirez Mendez, and Jayro Ivan
9
Juarez Ramirez (also known as Jayron Ivan Juarez
10
Mendez and as Jaro Ivan Ramirez Mendez) enters the
11
United States before the filing deadline specified in sub-
12
section (c), each such named individual shall be considered
13
to have entered and remained lawfully and shall, if other-
14
wise eligible, be eligible for adjustment of status under
15
section 245 of the Immigration and Nationality Act as of
16
the date of the enactment of this Act.
17
(c) WAIVER OF GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL OR DENIAL
18
OF ADMISSION.—

(1) IN
GENERAL.—Notwithstanding sections
20
212(a) and 237(a) of the Immigration and Nation-
21
ality Act, Alirio Palacios Gamez, Hilda Veronica Ra-
22
mirez Mendez, and Jayro Ivan Juarez Ramirez (also
23
known as Jayron Ivan Juarez Mendez and as Jaro
24
Ivan Ramirez Mendez) may not be removed from the
25

United States, denied admission to the United

States, or considered ineligible for lawful permanent
2
residence in the United States by reason of any
3
ground for removal or denial of admission that is re-
4
flected in the records of the Department of Home-
5
land Security or the Visa Office of the Department
6
of State on the date of the enactment of this Act.

(2) RECESSION
OF
OUTSTANDING
ORDER
OF
8
REMOVAL.—The Secretary of Homeland Security
9
shall rescind any outstanding order of removal or de-
10
portation, or any finding of inadmissibility or de-
11
portability, that has been entered against Alirio
12
Palacios Gamez, Hilda Veronica Ramirez Mendez, or
13
Jayro Ivan Juarez Ramirez (also known as Jayron
14
Ivan Juarez Mendez and as Jaro Ivan Ramirez
15
Mendez) by reason of any ground described in para-
16
graph (1).

(d) DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION AND PAYMENT OF
18
FEES.—Subsections (a) and (b) shall apply only if the ap-
19
plication for issuance of an immigrant visa or the applica-
20
tion for adjustment of status is filed with appropriate fees
21
within 2 years after the date of the enactment of this Act.
22
(e) REDUCTION
OF IMMIGRANT VISA NUMBER.—
23
Upon the granting of an immigrant visa or permanent res-
24
idence to each of Alirio Palacios Gamez, Hilda Veronica

Ramirez Mendez, and Jayro Ivan Juarez Ramirez (also

known as Jayron Ivan Juarez Mendez and as Jaro Ivan

Ramirez Mendez), the Secretary of State shall instruct the
3
proper officer to reduce by 1, during the current or next
4
following fiscal year, the total number of immigrant visas
5
that are made available to natives of the country of the
6
alien’s birth under section 203(a) of the Immigration and
7
Nationality Act or, if applicable, the total number of immi-
8
grant visas that are made available to natives of the coun-
9
try of the alien’s birth under section 202(e) of such Act.
10
(f) DENIAL OF PREFERENTIAL IMMIGRATION TREAT-
11
MENT FOR CERTAIN RELATIVES.—The natural parents,
12
brothers, and sisters of Alirio Palacios Gamez, Hilda
13
Veronica Ramirez Mendez, and Jayro Ivan Juarez Rami-
14
rez (also known as Jayron Ivan Juarez Mendez and as
15
Jaro Ivan Ramirez Mendez) shall not, by virtue of such
16
relationship, be accorded any right, privilege, or status
17
under the Immigration and Nationality Act.
