Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. ORDER OF RESTITUTION. 1 In the case of an individual convicted of a Federal 2 offense related to the individual’s conduct at and during 3 the course of a protest with respect to which a Federal 4 law enforcement officer was engaged in policing activity, 5 the court shall, in addition to the penalty for such convic- 6 tion, order the individual to pay an order of restitution 7 to the appropriate Federal law enforcement agency in an 8 amount that is equal to the cost of such policing activity, 9 as determined by the court. 10 SEC. 3.
