A BILL
To prohibit the use of funds to provide for the United
States to become a party to the Paris Agreement.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘No Taxpayer Funding
4
for Paris Climate Agreement Act’’.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION ON USE OF FUNDS TO PROVIDE FOR

THE UNITED STATES TO BECOME A PARTY TO

THE PARIS AGREEMENT.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding any other provi-
4
sion of law, no funds are authorized to be appropriated,
5
obligated, or expended to take any action to provide for
6
the United States to become a party to the Paris Agree-
7
ment.

(b) PARIS AGREEMENT DEFINED.—In this section,
9
the term ‘‘Paris Agreement’’ means the decision by the
10
United Nations Framework Convention on Climate
11
Change’s 21st Conference of Parties in Paris, France,
12
adopted December 12, 2015.
