A BILL
To amend the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Secu-
rity Act to extend the temporary suspension of Medicare
sequestration, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Medicare Sequester
4
COVID Moratorium Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF MEDI-

CARE SEQUESTRATION.

amended by striking ‘‘December 31, 2020,’’ and inserting

‘‘the termination date of the emergency period described
3
in section 1135(g)(1)(B) of the Social Security Act,’’.

(b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendment made by
5
subsection (a) shall take effect as if included in the enact-
6
ment of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Secu-
7
rity Act (Public Law 116–136; 134 Stat. 421).
