Resolved, 1 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 2 This resolution may be cited as the ‘‘Stay on Sched- 3 ule (S.O.S.) PROHIBITING RECESS DURING AUGUST UNTIL AP- 1 PROVAL OF ALL REGULAR APPROPRIATION 2 BILLS. 3 Rule XXI of the Rules of the House of Representa- 4 tives is amended by adding at the end the following new 5 clause: 6 ‘‘Concurrent resolution providing for adjournment 7 during August 8 ‘‘13. If by July 31 of any calendar year the House 9 has not passed each of the regular appropriation bills for 10 the fiscal year which begins on October 1 of that calendar 11 year, it shall not be in order to consider a concurrent reso- 12 lution to provide that the House stand adjourned during 13 any day occurring during August of that calendar year 14 until the House has passed each such bill.
