Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. MAPLE RESEARCH AND MARKET PROMOTION PRO- 1 GRAM. 2 Section 12306 of the Agricultural Act of 2014 (7 3 U.S.C. 1632c) is amended— 4 (1) in the section heading, by striking ‘‘ACER 5 ACCESS AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM’’ and in- 6 serting ‘‘MAPLE RESEARCH AND MARKET PRO- 7 MOTION PROGRAM’’; 8 (2) in subsection (a), in the matter preceding 9 paragraph (1), by striking ‘‘Secretary of Agriculture 10 may make’’ and inserting ‘‘Secretary shall establish 11 a program, to be known as the ‘Maple Research and 12 Market Promotion Program’, under which the Sec- 13 retary may make’’; 14 (3) in subsection (e), by striking ‘‘of Agri- 15 culture’’; and 16 (4) in subsection (f), by striking ‘‘$20,000,000 17 for each of fiscal years 2014 through 2023’’ and in- 18 serting ‘‘$30,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2024 19 through 2028’’. 20 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 01:09 Jun 23, 2023 Jkt 039200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\S1846.IS S1846 pbinns on DSKJLVW7X2PROD with $$_JOB
