A BILL
To prohibit the availability of Federal funds to the World
Health Organization pending the conduct of an investiga-
tion relating to the influence over such organization by
Chinese Communist Party, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. PROHIBITION ON FEDERAL FUNDING TO
3
WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION PENDING IN-
4
VESTIGATION.
5
(a) PROHIBITION.—Notwithstanding any other provi-
6
sion of law, no Federal funds may be made available, di-

rectly or indirectly, to the World Health Organization

until the President—
2
(1) conducts an investigation, with the compli-
3
ance of the Director-General of the World Health
4
Organization, to assess and determine the level of
5
influence by the Chinese Communist Party over the
6
operations of the World Health Organization (in-
7
cluding with respect to influence regarding the ori-
8
gin of COVID–19 and any coverup relating to such
9
origin); and
10
(2) submits to the appropriate congressional re-
11
cipients a report containing the findings of such in-
12
vestigation.

(b) APPROPRIATE CONGRESSIONAL RECIPIENTS DE-
14
FINED.—In this section, the term ‘‘appropriate congres-
15
sional recipients’’ means—
16
(1) the Committee on the Judiciary and the
17
Committee on Ways and Means of the House of
18
Representatives;
19
(2) the Committee on the Judiciary and the
20
Committee on Finance of the Senate;
21
(3) the Speaker and minority leader of the
22
House of Representatives; and
