A BILL
To amend title 18, United States Code, to prohibit picketing
or parading certain buildings or residences.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protect Our Judiciary
4
Act of 2023’’.
5
SEC. 2. PICKETING OR PARADING.
6
Section 1507 of title 18, United States Code, is
7
amended—

(1) by striking ‘‘, or in or near a building or

residence occupied or used by such judge, juror, wit-
2
ness, or court officer’’; and
3
(2) by inserting after the first sentence the fol-
4
lowing: ‘‘Whoever knowingly pickets or parades in or
5
near a building or residence being used by any
6
judge, juror, witness, or court officer, or uses any
7
sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other
8
demonstration in or near any such building or resi-
9
dence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned
10
not more than one year, or both.’’.
