lowing bill; which was referred to the Committee on Oversight and Ac-

To amend title 5, United States Code, to establish Workers’
Memorial Day as a Federal holiday.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Workers’ Memorial
4
Day’’.

SEC. 2. WORKERS’ MEMORIAL DAY.

Section 6103(a) of title 5, United States Code, is

amended by inserting after the item relating to Washing-
8
ton’s Birthday, the following:
