A BILL
To amend the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of
2008 to authorize use of amounts under the Troubled
Assets Relief Program to be used for activities under
the Emergency Solutions Grant Program of the Depart-

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Keep Your Home and
2
Prevent Homelessness Act of 2020’’.

SEC. 2. USE OF TARP AMOUNTS.

(a) IN GENERAL.—The Emergency Economic Sta-
5
bilization Act of 2008 is amended by inserting after sec-
6
tion 110 (12 U.S.C. 5220) the following new section:
7
‘‘SEC. 110A. OTHER ASSISTANCE.
8
‘‘Notwithstanding section 115(a), section 120, or any
9
other provision of law, the Secretary may use any amounts
10
made available under this title that are not otherwise obli-
11
gated to provide assistance under the Emergency Solu-
12
tions Grant Program under subtitle B of title IV of the
13
McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C.
14
11371 et seq.) or the Hardest Hit Fund Program of the
15
Secretary under this title.’’.

(b) CLERICAL AMENDMENT.—The table of contents
17
in section 1(b) of the Emergency Economic Stabilization
18
Act of 2008 (12 U.S.C. 5201 note) is amended by insert-
19
ing after the item relating to section 110 the following
20
new item:

‘‘110A. Other assistance.’’.
