A BILL
To amend the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to
extend National School Lunch Program requirement
waivers addressing COVID–19, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Operation Feed Our
4
Kids Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM REQUIRE-
6
MENT WAIVERS ADDRESSING COVID–19.

(a) EXTENSION OF SUNSET DATE.—Section 2202(e)

of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (42

2020.’’ and inserting ‘‘December 31, 2021.’’.

(b) EXTENSION OF PRIOR WAIVERS.—During the
3
30-day period beginning on the date of the enactment of
4
this Act, the Secretary of Agriculture shall extend through
5
at least the end of the 2020–2021 school year at least
6
each waiver available under section 2202 of the Families
7
First Coronavirus Response Act (42 U.S.C. 1760 note)
8
that is, as of September 11, 2020, set to expire on Decem-
9
ber 31, 2020.

(c) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—For an
11
additional amount for ‘‘Agricultural Programs—Domestic
12
Food Programs—Food and Nutrition Service—Child Nu-
13
trition Programs’’, there are authorized to be appropriated
14
such sums as may be necessary, to remain available until
15
December 31, 2021, to carry out sections 2102 and 2202
16
of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (42
17
U.S.C. 1760 note), as amended by subsection (a).
