Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Big Bend National 4 Park Boundary Adjustment Act’’. 5 SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS. 6 In this Act: 7 (1) MAP.—The term ‘‘map’’ entitled ‘‘Big Bend 8 National Park, Proposed Boundary Adjustment’’, 9 numbered 155/167,296, and dated July 2020. 10 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:11 Sep 04, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H8093.IH H8093 pbinns on DSKJLVW7X2PROD with BILLS 2 •HR 8093 IH (2) PARK.—The term ‘‘Park’’ means the Big 1 Bend National Park, as established pursuant to the 2 Act of June 20, 1935 (49 Stat. 393; 16 U.S.C. 3 156). 4 (3) SECRETARY.—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means 5 the Secretary of the Interior. 6 SEC. 3. BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK BOUNDARY ADJUST- 7 MENT. 8 (a) LAND ACQUISITION.—The Secretary is author- 9 ized to acquire approximately 6,100 acres of lands or in- 10 terests in land generally depicted on the map as ‘‘Proposed 11 Park Addition’’ by donation, purchase from willing sellers, 12 or exchange. 13 (b) AVAILABILITY OF MAP.—The map shall be on file 14 and available for public inspection in the appropriate of- 15 fices of the National Park Service, the Department of the 16 Interior. 17 (c) BOUNDARY REVISION AND ADMINISTRATION.— 18 Upon the acquisition of any lands or interests in land pur- 19 suant to subsection (a), the Secretary shall revise the 20 boundary of the Park to include the acquisition, and shall 21 administer such lands or interests in land as part of the 22 Park in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. 23 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:11 Sep 04, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H8093.IH H8093 pbinns on DSKJLVW7X2PROD with BILLS
