A BILL
To direct the Administrator of the Small Business Adminis-
tration to update information to borrowers on the use
of economic injury disaster loan proceeds to respond
to COVID–19, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Reopen Small Busi-
4
nesses Safely Act’’.

CEEDS FOR COVID–19 RESPONSE.

The Administrator of the Small Business Administra-

tion shall update information provided to borrowers of
4
loans made under section 7(b)(2) of the Small Business
5
Act (15 U.S.C. 636(b)(2)) to allow such borrowers to use
6
such loans to purchase items necessary to ensure the
7
health and safety of employees and customers in response
8
to the COVID–19 pandemic.
