Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

SECTION 1. RENAMING PORTION OF UNITED STATES

ROUTE 80.

(a) DESIGNATION.—The portion of United States
3
Route 80 from Selma, Alabama to Montgomery, Alabama
4
shall be known as the ‘‘John R. Lewis Voting Rights
5
Highway’’.

(b) REFERENCES.—Any reference in a law, map, reg-
7
ulation, document, paper, or other record of the United
8
States to the portion of United States Route 80 from
9
Selma, Alabama to Montgomery, Alabama is deemed to
10
be a reference to the ‘‘John R. Lewis Voting Rights High-
11
way’’.
