A BILL
To amend the Community Services Block Grant Act to clar-
ify that the maximum allotment provision does not apply
to supplemental appropriations for fiscal year 2020.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Community Services
4
Block Grant Refinement and Improvement Act’’.

SEC. 2. LIMITATION ON MAXIMUM ALLOTMENT REQUIRE-

MENT.

Section 675B(b)(3) of the Community Services Block
3
Grant Act (42 U.S.C. 9906(b)(3)) is amended by adding
4
at the end the following: ‘‘The reduction required by this
5
paragraph shall not apply to any funds appropriated
6
under the CARES Act or any subsequent supplemental
7
appropriations bill for fiscal year 2020, including any such
8
funds that remain available for another fiscal year.’’.
