To prevent the establishment of a denaturalization section
in the Department of Justice, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Defend New Ameri-
4
cans Act’’.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION.

No Federal funds may be used to implement, admin-
7
ister, or enforce the policy of the Department of Justice,
8
issued February 26, 2020, to establish a denaturalization
9
section in the Office of Immigration Litigation of the Civil
