tion; which was referred to the House Calendar and ordered to be printed
RESOLUTION
Providing for consideration of the Senate amendments to
the bill (H.R. 6172) to amend the Foreign Intelligence
Surveillance Act of 1978 to prohibit the production of
certain business records, and for other purposes.
Resolved, That upon adoption of this resolution it

shall be in order to take from the Speaker’s table the bill
2
(H.R. 6172) to amend the Foreign Intelligence Surveil-
3
lance Act of 1978 to prohibit the production of certain
4
business records, and for other purposes, with the Senate

amendments thereto, and to consider in the House, with-
1
out intervention of any point of order, a single motion of-
2
fered by the chair of the Committee on the Judiciary or
3
his designee that the House concur in the Senate amend-
4
ments. The Senate amendments and the motion shall be
5
considered as read. The motion shall be debatable for one
6
hour equally divided among and controlled by the chair
7
and ranking minority member of the Committee on the
8
Judiciary and the chair and ranking minority member of
9
the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. The pre-
10
vious question shall be considered as ordered on the mo-
11
tion to its adoption without intervening motion or demand
12
for division of the question.

SEC. 2. Any motion pursuant to clause 4 of rule XXII
14
relating to H.R. 6172 may be offered only by the Majority
15
Leader or his designee.
16
SEC. 3. Notwithstanding the order of the House of
17
May 22, 2020, if a veto message is laid before the House
18
on House Joint Resolution 76, then after the message is
19
read and the objections of the President are spread at
20
large upon the Journal, further consideration of the veto
21
message and the joint resolution shall be postponed until
22
the legislative day of Wednesday, July 1, 2020; and on
23
that legislative day, the House shall proceed to the con-
