Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. FULL REPAYMENT UNDER NATIONAL HEALTH 1 SERVICE CORPS LOAN REPAYMENT PRO- 2 GRAM IN CASE OF 5-YEAR COMMITMENT. 3 Section 338(g)(2) of the Public Health Service Act 4 (42 U.S.C. 254l–1(g)(2)) is amended by adding at the end 5 the following: 6 ‘‘(C) FULL REPAYMENT IN CASE OF 5- 7 YEAR COMMITMENT.—In the case of an indi- 8 vidual who, pursuant to subsection 9 (f)(1)(B)(iv), agrees to serve for a period of ob- 10 ligated service equal to 5 years, the Secretary, 11 for each such year of obligated service, shall 12 pay (subject to the availability of appropria- 13 tions) on behalf of the individual the total 14 amount owed by such individual for loans de- 15 scribed in paragraph (1), divided by 5.’’. 16 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 18:28 May 08, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H6676.IH H6676 pamtmann on DSKBC07HB2PROD with BILLS
