the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary,
and in addition to the Committee on Education and Labor, for a period
to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consider-
ation of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee
concerned

To amend the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Com-
pensation Program Act of 2000 to extend the sunset
for the Office of the Ombudsman.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Nuclear Workers’ Om-

budsman Extension Act’’.

Section 3686(h) of the Energy Employees Occupa-

tional Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000 (42

U.S.C. 7385s–15(h)) is amended by striking ‘‘2020’’ and

inserting ‘‘2025’’.
