A BILL
To repeal the funding authorization sunset and the total
funding cap for America’s Agricultural Heritage Partner-
ship, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. AMERICA’S AGRICULTURAL HERITAGE PART-

NERSHIP.

(a) SHORT TITLE.—This Act may be cited as the
5
‘‘Protecting the Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage
6
Area Act’’.

(b) REPEAL
OF FUNDING AUTHORIZATION SUN-

SET.—Section 707 of division II of the Omnibus Parks

(c) REPEAL
OF TOTAL FUNDING CAP.—Section
3
708(a) of division II of the Omnibus Parks and Public
4
Lands Management Act of 1996 (Public Law 104–333)

is amended by striking the last sentence.

SEC. 2. REDESIGNATION OF HERITAGE AREA.

(a) REDESIGNATION.—The America’s Agricultural
8
Heritage Partnership established by section 703 of the
9
Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act of
10
1996 (16 U.S.C. 461 note; Public Law 104–333) is hereby
11
redesignated and shall be known as the ‘‘Silos & Smoke-
12
stacks National Heritage Area’’.

(b) REFERENCES.—Any reference in a law, map, reg-
14
ulation, document, paper, or other record of the United
15
States to the heritage area referred to in subsection (a)
16
shall be deemed to be a reference to the Silos & Smoke-
17
stacks National Heritage Area.
