lowing bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Com-
merce
A BILL
To require the Federal Communications Commission to in-
corporate data on maternal health outcomes into its
broadband health maps.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Data Mapping to Save
4
Moms’ Lives Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. MAPPING BROADBAND CONNECTIVITY AND MATER-
6
NAL HEALTH OUTCOMES.

(a) INCORPORATION OF MATERNAL HEALTH OUT-

COME DATA.—The Federal Communications Commission

shall incorporate data on maternal health outcomes for not

less than 1 year postpartum, as recommended by the Cen-
2
ters for Disease Control and Prevention under subsection
3
(b), into the broadband health mapping tools of the Com-
4
mission.

(b) CONSULTATION WITH CDC.—The Federal Com-
6
munications Commission shall consult with the Centers for
7
Disease Control and Prevention regarding the maternal
8
health outcomes that should be incorporated into the
9
broadband health mapping tools of the Commission under
10
subsection (a).
