Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. RENEWAL OF NATIONAL URBAN AND COMMUNITY 1 FORESTRY ADVISORY COUNCIL. 2 Section 9(g) of the Cooperative Forestry Assistance 3 Act of 1978 (16 U.S.C. 2105(g)) is amended— 4 (1) in paragraph (2), by adding at the end the 5 following: 6 ‘‘(F) MEETINGS.—The Council established 7 under this subsection shall meet not less than 8 twice annually.’’; and 9 (2) by adding at the end the following: 10 ‘‘(7) RENEWAL OF COUNCIL.— 11 ‘‘(A) IN GENERAL.—Not later than 30 12 days after the date of the enactment of this 13 paragraph, the Secretary shall renew the Coun- 14 cil established under this subsection. 15 ‘‘(B) TERMINATION.—The Council estab- 16 lished under this subsection shall not terminate 17 except as provided by an Act of Congress.’’. 18 SEC. 3.
