A BILL
To expand the eligibility of veterans for hospital care and
medical services provided by non-Department of Veterans
Affairs medical providers under the Veterans Choice Pro-
gram.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Full Choice for Vet-
4
erans Act’’.

Section 101 of the John S. McCain III, Daniel K.
5
Akaka, and Samuel R. Johnson VA Maintaining Internal
6
Systems and Strengthening Integrated Outside Networks
7
Act of 2018 or the VA MISSION Act of 2018 (Public
8
Law 115–182; 38 U.S.C. 1703) is amended—
9
(1) by striking subsection (d) and inserting:
10
‘‘(d) CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH CARE IS RE-
11
QUIRED TO BE FURNISHED THROUGH NON-DEPART-
12
MENT PROVIDERS.—The Secretary shall, subject to the
13
availability of appropriations, furnish hospital care, med-
14
ical services, or extended care services to a covered veteran
15
through health care providers specified in subsection (c)
16
if the covered veteran notifies the Secretary that he or
17
she desires to receive care through the Veterans Commu-
18
nity Care Program.’’; and
19
(2) by striking subsection (e).
