SHORT TITLE. 1 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Saudi Fugitive Declas- 2 sification Act of 2019’’. 3 SEC. 2. DECLASSIFICATION OF ANY AND ALL INFORMATION 4 RELATING TO ACTIONS BY GOVERNMENT OF 5 SAUDI ARABIA TO ASSIST PERSONS IN DE- 6 PARTING UNITED STATES WHO WERE AWAIT- 7 ING TRIAL OR SENTENCING IN UNITED 8 STATES. 9 Not later than 30 days after the date of the enact- 10 ment of this Act, the Director of the Federal Bureau of 11 Investigation, in coordination with the Director of Na- 12 tional Intelligence, shall declassify any and all information 13 related to whether the government of Saudi Arabia materi- 14 ally assisted or facilitated any citizen or national of Saudi 15 Arabia in departing from the United States while the cit- 16 izen or national was awaiting trial or sentencing for a 17 criminal offense committed in the United States. 18 Passed the Senate October 17, 2019.
