This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Military Aviation

Training Safeguard Act’’.

AREAS.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Military aircraft operating outside
5
of designated Department of Defense airspace in the wil-
6
derness areas in mountainous regions may deviate from
7
service level requirements if necessary to maintain safety
8
of flight, as determined by the Secretary of Defense.

(b) REGULATIONS.—The Secretary of Defense shall
10
ensure that all Department of Defense regulations and
11
flight procedures are in accordance with subsection (a).
