Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Brand USA Extension
4
Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. THE CORPORATION FOR TRAVEL PROMOTION.
6
Subsection (b) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009
7
(22 U.S.C. 2131(b)) is amended—
8
(1) in paragraph (2)(A)—
9
(A) in clause (ii), by inserting ‘‘or
10
foodservice’’ after ‘‘restaurant’’;
11
(B) in clause (v), by inserting ‘‘, such as
12
outdoor recreation or theme parks’’ before the
13
semicolon at the end; and
14
(C) in clause (viii), by inserting ‘‘commer-
15
cial or private’’ before ‘‘passenger air sector’’;
16
(2) in paragraph (5)(A)—
17
(A) in clause (iii), by inserting ‘‘speaking
18
conventions, sales missions,’’ after ‘‘trade
19
shows,’’;
20
(B) in clause (iv), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the
21
end;
22
(C) in clause (v), by striking the period at
23
the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and

platforms, and other appropriate me-

dium.’’; and

(3) in paragraph (7)(C), by striking ‘‘3 days’’

and inserting ‘‘5 days’’.

SEC. 3. ACCOUNTABILITY MEASURES.

Subsection (c) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009
9
(22 U.S.C. 2131(c)) is amended—
10
(1) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘‘$500,000’’
11
and inserting ‘‘$450,000’’; and
12
(2) in paragraph (3)—
13
(A) by redesignating subparagraph (I) as
14
subparagraph (K);
15
(B) in subparagraph (H)(iii), by striking
16
‘‘and’’ at the end; and
17
(C)
by
inserting
after
subparagraph
18
(H)(iii) the following:
19
‘‘(I) a list of countries the Corporation
20
identifies as emerging markets for tourism to
21
the United States;
22
‘‘(J) a description of the efforts the Cor-
23
poration has made to promote tourism to rural
24
areas of the United States; and’’.

SEC. 4. EXTENSION OF FUNDING FOR BRAND USA.

Subsection (d) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009
2
(22 U.S.C. 2131(d)) is amended—
3
(1) in paragraph (2)(B), by striking ‘‘2020’’
4
and inserting ‘‘2027’’; and
5
(2) in paragraph (3)(B)(ii), by striking ‘‘70 per-
6
cent’’ and inserting ‘‘50 percent’’; and
7
(2) (3) in paragraph (4)(B), by striking ‘‘2020’’
8
and inserting ‘‘2027’’.

SEC. 5. PERFORMANCE PLAN.

Not later than 90 days after the date of the enact-
11
ment of this Act, the Corporation for Travel Promotion
12
shall make the performance metrics established pursuant
13
to subsection (f)(1)(A) of the Travel Promotion Act of
14
2009 (22 U.S.C. 2131(f)(1)(A)) publicly available on the
15
website of the Corporation.

SEC. 6. ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FOR TRAVEL AUTHORIZA-
17
TION FEE INCREASE.

Section 217(h)(3)(B)(i)(I) of the Immigration and
19
Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1187(h)(3)(B)(i)(I)) is amended
20
by striking ‘‘$10’’ and inserting ‘‘$17’’.
