To make hospitals eligible for health professions opportunity
grants under section 2008 of the Social Security Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Health Providers
4
Training Act’’.

SEC. 2. ELIGIBILITY OF HOSPITALS FOR HEALTH PROFES-
6
SIONS OPPORTUNITY GRANTS.

Section 2008(a)(4)(A) of the Social Security Act (42
8
U.S.C. 1397g(a)(4)(A)) is amended by striking ‘‘or a com-
9
munity-based organization’’ and inserting ‘‘, a community-
