To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to reau-
thorize certain programs relating to nonpoint source
management, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Local Water Protection
4
Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. NONPOINT SOURCE MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS.

Section 319 of the Federal Water Pollution Control
7
Act (33 U.S.C. 1329) is amended by striking subsection
8
(j) and inserting the following:

‘‘(j) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—

‘‘(1) IN GENERAL.—There is authorized to be
2
appropriated to carry out subsections (h) and (i)
3
$200,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through
4
2024, of which not more than $7,500,000 for each
5
fiscal year may be used to carry out subsection (i).
6
‘‘(2) AVAILABILITY.—Amounts made available
7
under paragraph (1) shall remain available until ex-
8
pended.’’.
