JUDICIAL DISTRICTS OF NORTH CAROLINA. 1 (a) IN GENERAL.—Section 113 of title 28, United 2 States Code, is amended— 3 (1) in subsection (a), by striking ‘‘and Wilson 4 and’’ and inserting ‘‘Wilson, those portions of Hoke, 5 Moore, Scotland, and Richmond counties encom- 6 passing the Fort Bragg Military Reservation and 7 Camp Mackall, and’’; and 8 (2) by striking subsection (b) and inserting the 9 following: 10 ‘‘(b) MIDDLE DISTRICT.—The Middle District com- 11 prises the counties of Alamance, Cabarrus, Caswell, Chat- 12 ham, Davidson, Davie, Durham (excluding that portion of 13 Durham County encompassing the Federal Correctional 14 Institution, Butner, North Carolina), Forsyth, Guilford, 15 Hoke (excluding that portion of Hoke County encom- 16 passing the Fort Bragg Military Reservation and Camp 17 Mackall), Lee, Montgomery, Moore (excluding that por- 18 tion of Moore County encompassing the Fort Bragg Mili- 19 tary Reservation and Camp Mackall), Orange, Person, 20 Randolph, Richmond (excluding that portion of Richmond 21 County encompassing the Fort Bragg Military Reserva- 22 tion and Camp Mackall), Rockingham, Rowan, Scotland 23 (excluding that portion of Scotland County encompassing 24 the Fort Bragg Military Reservation and Camp Mackall), 25 Stanly, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin.’’. 26 VerDate Sep 11 2014 23:43 Aug 02, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S929.RFH S929 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 3 S 929 RFH (b) APPLICATION.—The amendments made by sub- 1 section (a) shall not apply to any action commenced or 2 pending in any judicial district of North Carolina before 3 the date of enactment of this Act. 4 Passed the Senate July 30, 2019.
