Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protecting Military

Firefighters from PFAS Act’’.

The Secretary of Defense shall provide blood testing
5
to determine and document potential exposure to
6
perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (commonly
7
known as ‘‘PFAS’’) for each firefighter of the Department
8
of Defense during the annual physical exam conducted by
9
the Department for each such firefighter.
