IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES FEBRUARY 6, 2019 Mr. BURR, from the Select Committee on Intelligence, reported the following original resolution; which was referred to the Committee on Rules and Administration RESOLUTION Authorizing expenditures by the Select Committee on Intelligence. Resolved, 1 SECTION 1. GENERAL AUTHORITY. 2 In carrying out its powers, duties, and functions 3 under S. Res. 400, agreed to May 19, 1976 (94th Con- 4 gress), as amended by S. Res. 445, agreed to October 9, 5 2004 (108th Congress), in accordance with its jurisdiction 6 under sections 3(a) and 17 of such S. Res. 400, including 7 holding hearings, reporting such hearings, and making in- 8 vestigations as authorized by section 5 of such S. EXPENSES. 12 (a) EXPENSES FOR PERIOD ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 13 2019.—The expenses of the committee for the period 14 March 1, 2019, through September 30, 2019, under this 15 resolution shall not exceed $3,707,448, of which amount 16 not to exceed $10,000 may be expended for the procure- 17 ment of the services of individual consultants, or organiza- 18 tions thereof (as authorized by section 202(i) of the Legis- 19 lative Reorganization Act of 1946 (2 U.S.C. 4301(i))). 20 (b) EXPENSES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2020 PERIOD.— 21 The expenses of the committee for the period October 1, 22 2019, through September 30, 2020, under this section 23 shall not exceed $6,355,625, of which amount not to ex- 24 ceed $17,144 may be expended for the procurement of the 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 22:37 Feb 06, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\SR51.IS SR51 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 3 •SRES 51 IS services of individual consultants, or organizations thereof 1 (as authorized by section 202(i) of the Legislative Reorga- 2 nization Act of 1946 (2 U.S.C. 4301(i))). 3 (c) EXPENSES FOR PERIOD ENDING FEBRUARY 28, 4 2021.—The expenses of the committee for the period Oc- 5 tober 1, 2020, through February 28, 2021, under this res- 6 olution shall not exceed $2,648,177, of which amount not 7 to exceed $7,143 may be expended for the procurement 8 of the services of individual consultants, or organizations 9 thereof (as authorized by section 202(i) of the Legislative 10 Reorganization Act of 1946 (2 U.S.C. 4301(i))). 11 SEC. 3.
