A BILL
To modify the boundary of the Shiloh National Military
Park located in the States of Tennessee and Mississippi,
to establish Parker’s Crossroads Battlefield as an affili-
ated area of the National Park System, and for other
purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Shiloh National Mili-
4
tary Park Boundary Adjustment and Parker’s Crossroads
5
Battlefield Designation Act’’.

SEC. 2. SHILOH NATIONAL MILITARY PARK BOUNDARY AD-

JUSTMENT.
2
(a) DEFINITIONS.—In this section:
3
(1) AFFILIATED
AREA.—The term ‘‘affiliated
4
area’’ means the Parker’s Crossroads Battlefield es-
5
tablished as an affiliated area of the National Park
6
System by subsection (c)(1).
7
(2) PARK.—The term ‘‘Park’’ means Shiloh
8
National Military Park, a unit of the National Park
9
System.
10
(3) SECRETARY.—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means
11
the Secretary of the Interior.

(b) AREAS TO BE ADDED TO SHILOH NATIONAL
13
MILITARY PARK.—
14
(1) ADDITIONAL AREAS.—The boundary of the
15
Park is modified to include the areas that are gen-
16
erally depicted on the map entitled ‘‘Shiloh National
17
Military Park, Proposed Boundary Adjustment’’,
18
numbered 304/80,011, and dated July 2014, and
19
which are comprised of—
20
(A) Fallen Timbers Battlefield;
21
(B) Russell House Battlefield; and
22
(C) Davis Bridge Battlefield.

(2) ACQUISITION
AUTHORITY.—The Secretary
24
may acquire the land described in paragraph (1) by

donation, purchase from willing sellers with donated
1
or appropriated funds, or exchange.

(3)
ADMINISTRATION.—Any
land
acquired
3
under this subsection shall be administered as part
4
of the Park.
5
(c) ESTABLISHMENT OF AFFILIATED AREA.—
6
(1) IN GENERAL.—Parker’s Crossroads Battle-
7
field in the State of Tennessee is established as an
8
affiliated area of the National Park System.
9
(2) DESCRIPTION OF AFFILIATED AREA.—The
10
affiliated area shall consist of the area generally de-
11
picted within the ‘‘Proposed Boundary’’ on the map
12
entitled ‘‘Parker’s Crossroads Battlefield, Proposed
13
Boundary’’, numbered 903/80,073, and dated July
14
2014.

(3) ADMINISTRATION.—The affiliated area shall
16
be managed in accordance with—
17
(A) this section; and
18
(B) any law generally applicable to units of
19
the National Park System.
20
(4) MANAGEMENT ENTITY.—The City of Park-
21
ers Crossroads and the Tennessee Historical Com-
22
mission shall jointly be the management entity for
23
the affiliated area.

(5) COOPERATIVE
AGREEMENTS.—The Sec-
1
retary may provide technical assistance and enter
2
into cooperative agreements with the management
3
entity for the purpose of providing financial assist-
4
ance for the marketing, marking, interpretation, and
5
preservation of the affiliated area.
6
(6) LIMITED ROLE OF THE SECRETARY.—Noth-
7
ing in this section authorizes the Secretary to ac-
8
quire property at the affiliated area or to assume
9
overall financial responsibility for the operation,
10
maintenance, or management of the affiliated area.
11
(7) GENERAL MANAGEMENT PLAN.—
12
(A) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary, in con-
13
sultation with the management entity, shall de-
14
velop a general management plan for the affili-
15
ated area in accordance with section 100502 of
16
title 54, United States Code.
17
(B) TRANSMITTAL.—Not later than 3
18
years after the date on which funds are first
19
made available to carry out this section, the
20
Secretary shall submit to the Committee on En-
21
ergy and Natural Resources of the Senate and
22
the Committee on Natural Resources of the
