Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. REAUTHORIZATION OF GRANT PROGRAM FOR EDU- 1 CATION, TRAINING, AND ENHANCED SERV- 2 ICES TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST AND ABUSE 3 OF WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES. 4 Section 1402 of the Violence Against Women Act of 5 2000 (34 U.S.C. 20122) is amended— 6 (1) in subsection (e), by striking ‘‘2018’’ and 7 inserting ‘‘2024’’; and 8 (2) by adding at the end the following new sub- 9 section: 10 ‘‘(f) REPORT.—Not later than 1 year after the date 11 of enactment of the Certainty, Assistance, and Relief for 12 Everyone Act, the Attorney General shall issue a report 13 identifying and describing best practices for State, local, 14 and tribal law enforcement officers and prosecutors in in- 15 vestigating and prosecuting sexual assault cases involving 16 the victimization of individuals with disabilities.’’. 17 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 20:03 Jan 25, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H505.IH H505 pamtmann on DSKBFK8HB2PROD with BILLS
