To require the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of
State to develop a plan for the relocation and admission
to the United States of certain citizens of Afghanistan,
and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Save Our Afghan Allies
4
Act’’.

SEC. 2. DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE PLAN FOR RELOCATION

AND ADMISSION TO THE UNITED STATES OF
2
CERTAIN CITIZENS OF AFGHANISTAN.

(a) PLAN REQUIRED.—
4
(1) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of Defense, in
5
coordination with the Secretary of State, shall de-
6
velop a plan for the relocation and admission to the
7
United States pursuant to special immigrant visas of
8
citizens of Afghanistan who are aliens described in
9
section 602(b)(2) of the Afghan Allies Protection
10
Act of 2009 (Public Law 111–8; 8 U.S.C. 1101
11
note).

(2) ELEMENT.—The plan required by para-
13
graph (1) shall provide for the relocation and admis-
14
sion of such citizens of Afghanistan before the date
15
on which the withdrawal of the United States Armed
16
Forces from Afghanistan is completed.

(b) SUBMITTAL TO CONGRESS.—Not later than 30
18
days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Sec-
19
retary of Defense shall submit to the appropriate commit-
20
tees of Congress the plan developed under subsection
21
(a)(1).

(c) APPROPRIATE COMMITTEES OF CONGRESS DE-
23
FINED.—In this section, the term ‘‘appropriate commit-
24
tees of Congress’’ means—
