Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Military Education and 4 Values Act’’. 5 SEC. 2. GUIDANCE REQUIRED. 6 Not later than 60 days after the date of the enact- 7 ment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall issue guid- 8 ance that— 9 VerDate Sep 11 2014 20:15 Jun 27, 2021 Jkt 019200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H3754.IH H3754 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 2 •HR 3754 IH (1) prohibits, within the Department of Defense 1 and the Armed Forces, the use of any education or 2 training methodology that promotes or causes a ra- 3 cial divide or lack of equality; 4 (2) reiterates that members of the Armed 5 Forces from all races will be treated equally; and 6 (3) updates members of the Armed Forces on 7 the core tenets of the United States military. 8 SEC. 3.
