To amend title 10, United States Code, to improve dependent
coverage under the TRICARE Young Adult Program,
and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Health Care Fairness
4
for Military Families Act of 2021’’.

TO
DEPENDENT
COVERAGE

UNDER TRICARE YOUNG ADULT PROGRAM.

(a) EXPANSION OF ELIGIBILITY.—Subsection (b) of
3
section 1110b of title 10, United States Code, is amend-
4
ed—
5
(1) by striking paragraph (3); and
6
(2) by redesignating paragraphs (4) and (5) as
7
paragraphs (3) and (4), respectively.

(b) ELIMINATION OF SEPARATE PREMIUM FOR A
9
YOUNG ADULT.—Such section is further amended by
10
striking subsection (c).

(c) CONFORMING AMENDMENT.—Section 1075(c)(3)
12
of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking
13
‘‘section 1076d, 1076e, or 1110b’’ and inserting ‘‘section
14
1076d or 1076e’’.
