WILDERNESS AREA INCLUDED IN MOUNT OLYMPUS 1 WILDERNESS. 2 Section 102(a) of the Utah Wilderness Act of 1984 3 (Public Law 98–428; 98 Stat. 1657; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note) 4 is amended— 5 (1) in paragraph (11), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the 6 end; 7 (2) in paragraph (12), by striking the period at 8 the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 9 (3) by adding at the end the following: 10 ‘‘(13) certain lands in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache 11 National Forest which comprise approximately 12 326.27 acres as generally depicted on a map entitled 13 the ‘Bonneville Shoreline Trail Legislative Map’ 14 dated July 9, 2020, are, subject to valid existing 15 rights, hereby incorporated as part of the Mount 16 Olympus Wilderness designated under paragraph 17 (3).’’. 18 SEC. 3. WILDERNESS BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENTS. 19 (a) MOUNT NAOMI WILDERNESS BOUNDARY AD- 20 JUSTMENT.— 21 (1) ADJUSTMENT.—Section 102 of the Utah 22 Wilderness Act of 1984 (Public Law 98–428; 98 23 Stat. 1657; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note) is amended by 24 adding at the end the following: 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:02 Sep 22, 2022 Jkt 029200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S1222.RS S1222 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 3 •S 1222 RS ‘‘(c) MOUNT NAOMI WILDERNESS BOUNDARY AD- 1 JUSTMENT.—Certain lands in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache 2 National Forest which comprise approximately 11.17 3 acres as generally depicted on a map entitled the ‘Bonne- 4 ville Shoreline Trail Legislative Map’, dated July 9, 2020, 5 are hereby removed from the Mount Naomi Wilderness 6 designated under subsection (a)(1).’’. 7 (2) MANAGEMENT.—The Mount Naomi Wilder- 8 ness, as designated under section 102(a)(1) of the 9 Utah Wilderness Act of 1984 (Public Law 98–428; 10 98 Stat. 1658; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note) and adjusted 11 under paragraph (1), effective beginning on the date 12 of the enactment of this Act, shall be managed as 13 part of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. 14 (b) MOUNT OLYMPUS WILDERNESS BOUNDARY AD- 15 JUSTMENT.— 16 (1) ADJUSTMENT.—Section 102 of the Utah 17 Wilderness Act of 1984 (Public Law 98–428; 98 18 Stat. 1657; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note), as amended by 19 subsection (a), is further amended by adding at the 20 end the following: 21 ‘‘(d) MOUNT OLYMPUS WILDERNESS BOUNDARY AD- 22 JUSTMENT.—Certain lands in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache 23 National Forest which comprise approximately 197.4 24 acres as generally depicted on a map entitled the ‘Bonne- 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:02 Sep 22, 2022 Jkt 029200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S1222.RS S1222 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 4 •S 1222 RS ville Shoreline Trail Legislative Map’, dated July 9, 2020, 1 are hereby removed from the Mount Olympus Wilderness 2 designated under subsection (a)(3).’’. 3 (2) MANAGEMENT.—The Mount Olympus Wil- 4 derness, as designated under section 102(a)(3) of 5 the Utah Wilderness Act of 1984 (Public Law 98– 6 428; 98 Stat. 1658; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note) and ad- 7 justed under paragraph (1), effective beginning on 8 the date of the enactment of this Act, shall be man- 9 aged as part of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National 10 Forest. 11 (c) TWIN PEAKS WILDERNESS BOUNDARY ADJUST- 12 MENT.— 13 (1) ADJUSTMENT.—Section 102 of the Utah 14 Wilderness Act of 1984 (Public Law 98–428; 98 15 Stat. 1657; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note), as amended by 16 subsections (a) and (b), is further amended by add- 17 ing at the end the following: 18 ‘‘(e) TWIN PEAKS WILDERNESS BOUNDARY ADJUST- 19 MENT.—Certain lands in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache Na- 20 tional Forest which comprise approximately 9.8 acres as 21 generally depicted on a map entitled the ‘Bonneville 22 Shoreline Trail Legislative Map’, dated July 9, 2020, are 23 hereby removed from the Twin Peaks Wilderness des- 24 ignated under subsection (a)(4).’’. 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:02 Sep 22, 2022 Jkt 029200 PO 00000 Frm 00004 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S1222.RS S1222 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 5 •S 1222 RS (2) MANAGEMENT.—The Twin Peaks Wilder- 1 ness, as designated under section 102(a)(4) of the 2 Utah Wilderness Act of 1984 (Public Law 98–428; 3 98 Stat. 1658; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note) and adjusted 4 under paragraph (1), effective beginning on the date 5 of the enactment of this Act, shall be managed as 6 part of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. 7 (d) LONE PEAK WILDERNESS BOUNDARY ADJUST- 8 MENT.— 9 (1) ADJUSTMENT.—Section 2 of the Endan- 10 gered American Wilderness Act of 1978 (Public Law 11 95–237; 92 Stat. 42; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note) is 12 amended— 13 (A) in subsection (j), by striking ‘‘and’’ at 14 the end; 15 (B) in subsection (k), by striking the pe- 16 riod at the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 17 (C) by adding at the end the following: 18 ‘‘(l) certain lands in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache Na- 19 tional Forest, Utah, which comprise approximately 107.9 20 acres as generally depicted on a map entitled the ‘Bonne- 21 ville Shoreline Trail Legislative Map’, dated July 9, 2020, 22 are hereby removed from the Lone Peak Wilderness Area 23 designated under subsection (i).’’. 24 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:02 Sep 22, 2022 Jkt 029200 PO 00000 Frm 00005 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S1222.RS S1222 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 6 •S 1222 RS (2) MANAGEMENT.—The Lone Peak Wilderness 1 Area, as designated under section 2(i) of the Endan- 2 gered American Wilderness Act of 1978 (Public Law 3 95–237; 92 Stat. 42; 16 U.S.C. 1132 note) and ad- 4 justed under paragraph (1), effective beginning on 5 the date of the enactment of this Act, shall be man- 6 aged as part of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National 7 Forest. 8 SEC. 4. RULE OF CONSTRUCTION. 9 Nothing in this Act or the amendments made by this 10 Act— 11 (1) affects the use or allocation, in existence on 12 the date of enactment of this Act, of any water, 13 water right, or interest in water; 14 (2) affects any water right (as defined by appli- 15 cable State law) in existence on the date of enact- 16 ment of this Act, including any water right held by 17 the United States; 18 (3) affects any interstate water compact in ex- 19 istence on the date of enactment of this Act; or 20 (4) shall be considered to be a relinquishment 21 or reduction of any water rights reserved or appro- 22 priated by the United States in the State on or be- 23 fore the date of enactment of this Act. 24 VerDate Sep 11 2014 00:02 Sep 22, 2022 Jkt 029200 PO 00000 Frm 00006 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S1222.RS S1222 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 7 •S 1222 RS SEC. 5.
