DESIGNATION OF CERRO DE LA OLLA WILDERNESS. 1 (a) IN GENERAL.—Section 1202 of the John D. Din- 2 gell, Jr. Conservation, Management, and Recreation Act 3 (16 U.S.C. 1132 note; Public Law 116–9; 133 Stat. 651) 4 is amended— 5 (1) in the section heading, by striking ‘‘CERRO 6 DEL YUTA AND RI´O SAN ANTONIO’’ and inserting 7 ‘‘RI´O GRANDE DEL NORTE NATIONAL MONU- 8 MENT’’; 9 (2) in subsection (a), by striking paragraph (1) 10 and inserting the following: 11 ‘‘(1) MAP.—The term ‘map’ means— 12 ‘‘(A) for purposes of subparagraphs (A) 13 and (B) of subsection (b)(1), the map entitled 14 ‘Rı´o Grande del Norte National Monument Pro- 15 posed Wilderness Areas’ and dated July 28, 16 2015; and 17 ‘‘(B) for purposes of subsection (b)(1)(C), 18 the map entitled ‘Proposed Cerro de la Olla 19 Wilderness and Rı´o Grande del Norte National 20 Monument Boundary’ and dated January 28, 21 2021.’’; and 22 (3) in subsection (b)— 23 (A) in paragraph (1), by adding at the end 24 the following: 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 08:52 May 28, 2021 Jkt 019200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H2522.IH H2522 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 3 •HR 2522 IH ‘‘(C) CERRO DE LA OLLA WILDERNESS.— 1 Certain Federal land administered by the Bu- 2 reau of Land Management in Taos County, 3 New Mexico, comprising approximately 13,103 4 acres as generally depicted on the map, which 5 shall be known as the ‘Cerro de la Olla Wilder- 6 ness’.’’; 7 (B) in paragraph (7)— 8 (i) by striking ‘‘map and’’ each place 9 it appears and inserting ‘‘maps and’’; and 10 (ii) in subparagraph (B), by striking 11 ‘‘the legal description and map’’ and in- 12 serting ‘‘the maps or legal descriptions’’; 13 and 14 (C) by adding at the end the following: 15 ‘‘(12) WILDLIFE WATER DEVELOPMENT 16 PROJECTS IN CERRO DE LA OLLA WILDERNESS.— 17 ‘‘(A) IN GENERAL.—Subject to subpara- 18 graph (B) and in accordance with section 4(c) 19 of the Wilderness Act (16 U.S.C. 1133(c)), the 20 Secretary may authorize the maintenance of 21 any structure or facility in existence on the date 22 of enactment of this paragraph for wildlife 23 water development projects (including guzzlers) 24 VerDate Sep 11 2014 08:52 May 28, 2021 Jkt 019200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H2522.IH H2522 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 4 •HR 2522 IH in the Cerro de la Olla Wilderness if, as deter- 1 mined by the Secretary— 2 ‘‘(i) the structure or facility would en- 3 hance wilderness values by promoting 4 healthy, viable, and more naturally distrib- 5 uted wildlife populations; and 6 ‘‘(ii) the visual impacts of the struc- 7 ture or facility on the Cerro de la Olla Wil- 8 derness can reasonably be minimized. 9 ‘‘(B) COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT.—Not 10 later than 1 year after the date of enactment of 11 this paragraph, the Secretary shall enter into a 12 cooperative agreement with the State of New 13 Mexico that specifies, subject to section 4(c) of 14 the Wilderness Act (16 U.S.C. 1133(c)), the 15 terms and conditions under which wildlife man- 16 agement activities in the Cerro de la Olla Wil- 17 derness may be carried out.’’. 18 (b) CLERICAL AMENDMENT.—The table of contents 19 for the John D. Dingell, Jr. Conservation, Management, 20 and Recreation Act (Public Law 116–9; 133 Stat. 581) 21 is amended by striking the item relating to section 1202 22 and inserting the following: 23 ‘‘Sec. 1202. Rı´o Grande del Norte National Monument Wilderness Areas.’’.
