A BILL
To require the Secretary of the Interior to remove the Eman-
cipation Memorial from Lincoln Park in the District
of Columbia, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Emancipation Statue
4
Removal Act’’.

SEC. 2. REMOVAL OF EMANCIPATION MEMORIAL.

(a) REMOVAL.—The Secretary of the Interior shall
7
ensure that the Emancipation Memorial is removed from
8
Lincoln Park in the District of Columbia.

(b) DONATION.—The Secretary shall donate the

Emancipation Memorial to a museum or other similar en-
2
tity. The recipient of the Emancipation Memorial may not
3
store, display, or exhibit the Emancipation Memorial out-
4
side. If the Emancipation Memorial is stored, displayed,
5
or exhibited outside, ownership of the Emancipation Me-
6
morial will revert back to the Federal Government.
