APPROPRIATION OF AMOUNTS TO DEPARTMENT OF 1 VETERANS AFFAIRS FOR STATE HOME RE- 2 LIEF. 3 (a) IN GENERAL.—There is appropriated to the De- 4 partment of Veterans Affairs, out of amounts in the 5 Treasury not otherwise appropriated, $500,000,000 to 6 fund projects on the grant program priority list for con- 7 struction of State homes under subchapter III of chapter 8 81 of title 38, United States Code, that are approved by 9 the Secretary of Veterans Affairs before the date of the 10 enactment of this Act. 11 (b) SUPPLEMENT, NOT SUPPLANT.—The amount ap- 12 propriated by subsection (a) shall supplement and not sup- 13 plant amounts appropriated or otherwise made available 14 before the date of the enactment of this Act for the pur- 15 poses described in such subsection. 16 (c) AVAILABILITY OF AMOUNTS.— 17 (1) IN GENERAL.—The amount appropriated by 18 subsection (a) shall remain available until December 19 31, 2021. 20 (2) REMAINDER TO TREASURY.—Any amounts 21 appropriated by subsection (a) that are available 22 after December 31, 2021, shall be deposited in the 23 general fund of the Treasury. 24 VerDate Sep 11 2014 22:58 Feb 27, 2021 Jkt 019200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S330.IS S330 pamtmann on DSKBC07HB2PROD with BILLS 3 •S 330 IS (d) STATE HOME DEFINED.—In this section, the 1 term ‘‘State home’’ has the meaning given that term in 2 section 101(19) of title 38, United States Code. 3 SEC. 3. EMERGENCY DESIGNATION. 4 (a) IN GENERAL.—The amounts provided under this 5 Act are designated as an emergency requirement pursuant 6 to section 4(g) of the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 7 2010 (2 U.S.C. 933(g)). 8 (b) DESIGNATION IN SENATE.—In the Senate, this 9 Act is designated as an emergency requirement pursuant 10 to section 4112(a) of H. Con.
