AMENDMENT TO DEPARTMENT OF STATE REWARDS 1 PROGRAM. 2 Subsection (b) of section 36 of the State Department 3 Basic Authorities Act of 1956 (22 U.S.C. 2708) is amend- 4 ed— 5 (1) in paragraph (11), by striking ‘‘or’’ after 6 the semicolon at the end; 7 (2) in paragraph (12), by striking the period at 8 the end and inserting ‘‘; or’’; and 9 (3) by adding at the end the following new 10 paragraph: 11 ‘‘(13) the identification or location of an indi- 12 vidual or entity that— 13 ‘‘(A) knowingly, directly or indirectly, im- 14 ports, exports, or reexports to, into, or from 15 any country any goods, services, or technology 16 controlled for export by the United States be- 17 cause of the use of such goods, services, or 18 technology in contravention of a United States 19 or United Nations sanction; or 20 ‘‘(B) knowingly, directly or indirectly, pro- 21 vides training, advice, or other services or as- 22 sistance, or engages in significant financial 23 transactions, relating to any such goods, serv- 24 ices, or technology in contravention of such 25 sanction.’’. 26 VerDate Sep 11 2014 23:10 Jul 21, 2022 Jkt 029200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6401 E:\BILLS\H1036.RS H1036 pbinns on DSKJLVW7X2PROD with $$_JOB 3 •HR 1036 RS SECTION 1.
