R. 815 To amend Public Law 115–97 (commonly known as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act) to repeal the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge oil and gas program, and to preserve the Arctic coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska, as wilderness in recognition of its extraordinary natural ecosystems and for the permanent good of present and future generations of Americans. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Arctic Refuge Protec- 4 tion Act’’. 5 SEC. 2. REPEAL OF ARCTIC NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE 6 OIL AND GAS PROGRAM. 7 Section 20001 of Public Law 115–97 is hereby re- 8 pealed. 9 SEC. 3.
