To prohibit Federal funding to EcoHealth Alliance, Inc.,
and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Defund EcoHealth Al-
4
liance Act’’.

SEC.
2.
PROHIBITION
ON
FEDERAL
FUNDING
TO
6
ECOHEALTH ALLIANCE, INC.

(a) IN GENERAL.—No funds authorized or appro-
8
priated by Federal law may be made available for any pur-
9
pose to EcoHealth Alliance, Inc.

(b) GAO STUDY AND REPORT.—Not later than 2

years after the date of the enactment of this Act, the
2
Comptroller General of the United States shall conduct
3
a study, and submit to Congress a report, on the amount
4
of Federal funds awarded to EcoHealth Alliance, Inc.,
5
during the 10-year period preceding such date of enact-
6
ment were provided, whether purposely or inadvertently,
7
to the People’s Republic of China, Chinese Communist
8
Party, or the Wuhan Institute of Virology, or any agency
9
or instrumentality thereof.
