concurrent resolution; which was referred to the Committee on House Ad-

CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
Authorizing the use of the rotunda of the Capitol to honor
the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient of the Second
World War upon death.

SECTION 1. HONORING LAST SURVIVING MEDAL OF HONOR
3
RECIPIENT OF SECOND WORLD WAR.

(a) USE OF ROTUNDA.—At the election of the indi-
5
vidual (or next of kin of the individual), the last individual
6
to die who was awarded the Medal of Honor for acts per-

formed during World War II shall be permitted to lie in

honor in the rotunda of the Capitol upon death.

(b) IMPLEMENTATION.—The Architect of the Capitol,
3
under the direction and supervision of the President pro
4
tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of
5
Representatives, shall take the necessary steps to imple-
6
ment subsection (a) upon the death of the individual de-
7
scribed in such subsection.
